一、项目概述Project Overview:
“新汉学计划”项目是由中外语言交流合作中心大力支持的系列项目，包括“来华攻读博士学位项目”和“中外合作培养博士项目”。自2013年迄今，已支持八百余名优秀青年汉学家在中国攻读博士学位，或开展博士期间的学术研究。博士生预选营是基于上述项目的经验开展的短期课程研修项目，面向具有一定学术潜力且有志于从事汉学及中国研究的外籍青年学者，协助其做好语言、文化、学术等多方面准备，了解研究领域概况，规划学术发展道路，结识志同道合伙伴。
The “China Studies Program”(CSP) consists of a series of projects strongly supported by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, including the “PhD in China Fellowship” and the “Joint Research PhD Fellowship”. Since 2013, it has supported more than 800 outstanding young sinologists to pursue a doctoral degree or conduct academic research during their doctoral studies in China. The Aspiring Doctoral Students Camp is a short-term training program based on the experience of the aforementioned programs. It is designed for young foreign scholars who have strong academic potential and are interested in sinology and China studies. It will help them make full preparation in the fields of language, culture and academic research, familiarize themselves with the research field, plan their academic development path, and meet like-minded peers.
北京外国语大学中华文化国际传播研究院以探究中华文化的世界意义为宗旨，以推动文明互鉴、中华文化国际传播为己任，探究中外文化交流古今之变，阐释中华文化在人类社会文明进程中的重大贡献，揭示屹立于世界舞台中心今日中国的天下情怀、文化价值。
The Institute for International Communication of Chinese Culture (IICCC) of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) aims to study the global significance of Chinese culture, contribute to mutual learning among civilizations and the international communication of Chinese culture, explore the history of cultural exchange between China and the world, and interpret the significant contribution of Chinese culture in the civilization process of humanity, and the universal cultural value of today’s China in the center of the world’s stage.
北京外国语大学中华文化国际传播研究院承办此次预选营，通过学术讲座、圆桌研讨、学业指导等方式，向营员们介绍汉学研究、文化交流、文明互鉴、文化翻译等领域的学术动态、前沿选题，为学生提供学术生涯指引和论文写作指导，进一步提高学生的科研能力。
The camp will lead students to learn about sinology research, cultural exchange, mutual learning of civilizations, and cultural translation through lectures, discussions, and academic guidance. It aims to provide overseas youths with a comprehensive understanding of traditional Chinese politics, economy, culture and society, and foster cultural exchanges among young people from all over the world.

三、 项目形式 Project Content
1. 圆桌研讨：学生根据研究意向选择学业导师，学业导师通过介绍研究领域前沿动态，启发学员思考、指导学员研究、观察学员讨论，记录学员表现。
Roundtable Discussions：Students choose an academic advisor according to their research interest. Academic tutors set up seminars on different topics to promote students’ reflection, guide research, observe students’ discussions, and record their performance.
2. 学术指导：教授学员如何制定研究计划、如何撰写博士论文、如何收集学术资源
Academic Counseling：Students are trained to develop a research plan, write a doctoral dissertation, and collect academic resources.
3. 成果展示：分组进行学术成果展示
Presentations：Group presentation of the academic achievements.
4. 结业报告：课程结束后2周内提交3000字结业报告
Program Reports: Students are required to submit a 3,000-word final report within 2 weeks after the course ends.

2023年12月14日-12月17日
五、 招生对象Application Requirements
1. 非中国公民 Non-Chinese Citizens
2. 在读硕士及以上学历Master degree or above
3. 熟练使用汉语 Skilled in use of Chinese

七、 结业标准 Criteria for Completion
1. 出勤率达到90%
Attendance rate above 90%
2. 项目结束后两周内提交3000字结业报告
A Submission of a 3,000-word program report before September 4th
3. 根据学习态度、成果分享、结业报告质量评选优秀学员
The program will select excellent students according to their learning attitude, pr esentations, and final reports.
4. 达到结业标准的学生可以获得结业证书；优秀学员还将获得“新汉学计划”博士生项目专家推荐信
Students who meet the completion standards can get a certificate of completion; outstanding students will also receive a letter of recommendation.
